Angell Cove Cottages offers many amenities to make your cottage rental enjoyable. Listed below are just a few of the many features that make Angell Cove Cottages a perfect place for your vacation stay!


Pet Friendly
We at Angell Cove are happy to welcome the four legged members of guests families. The number of pets and breed will be considered and an additional $100 fee per pet will be applied. Your pets are considered part of the family and many times it is difficult to find a vacation spot that will accomodate pets on the property...especially inside a cottage. We want you to feel right at home as you relax in our cottages with your pet. We have specified areas for the dogs that like to swim. The groomed hiking trails are perfect for that morning or evening walk for that special pet and its master. We ask that all leash, sanitary and noise policies be followed at all times. Some restrictions do apply, so please contact us prior to your reservation.


Beach and Shore
Fun in the sun...and sand! Enjoy our large private beach. Angell Cove has 1,400 ft. of Shore line. The sandy beach and no sudden drop off in water level make it ideal for children. There are many settings for groups or secluded spots for privacy along with two major fire pits for those night time gatherings. Hammocks and chairs are provided through out the complex for your relaxation and enjoyment.


Bird Watching
Angell Cove is bird watching hot spot. We also offers acres of groomed trails to enjoy watching all the species the north woods has to offer. Bird watching is a favorite pastime of many Angell Cove Cottage guests. One can watch osprey and eagles soar and even fight over a fish. Listen to the many call of the loons and watch as they care for their young as the little ones often catch a ride on Mamma's back. Along with many species of water foul. The Great Blue Heron can be seen in the marsh areas of the lake or nesting high in a tree top. As you walk through our many groomed hiking trails you will view many species of wood peckers including the elusive Pileated Woodpecker with his distinctive call and large wing span.You will also view where he has diligently left holes in trees in his search for insects. In the morning one will wake to the sounds of the song birds, last but not least the hoot of an owl at night. We have a variety of owls in our area. Contact our office to learn more about yearly bird watching events that take place on our property or if you would like to host a bird watching event at our facilties.

Boat Docking & Moorings
Angell Cove Cottages provides on site boat and aircraft docking and mooring facilities for our guests at no extra charge. We also provide kayaks and canoes free with stay. We can accommodate most all boats with a mooring and dock facility. Androscoggin Lake has a public boat launch in Wayne,Me. for your convenience. Float planes can be accommodated.* local law prohibits jet skis or personal water craft. Wind surfing and kite surfing and sailing are all popular on Androscoggin Lake. Sight seeing tours, float plane and aviation needs can be provided by Twitchell's Airport in Turner, ME.


Fishing
Androscoggin Lake proudly boasts some the premiere Bass fishing in Maine. Anglers can also try there luck at Trout, Pickerel and Perch. Androscoggin Lake boasts of some of the finest bass fishing in Maine. It is not uncommon to land a 5lb small mouth bass and the large mouth bass are abundant. If you like to fish for brown trout, a white bucktail fly will do the trick. We will direct you to the holes where the brown hide out. There are tributaries of brooks and a river that feed into the lake that add to a fisherman's enjoyment. Perch and pickerel are fun for kids and adults alike and are in good supply . Seasonal or short term licences are available online at Maine State Fish and Wild Life.


Biking
Bring your bikes for miles of trails and roads with scenic views! We have miles of secondary roads for those who enjoy the bicycling sport and exercise.Also roads for the very beginner as well. The distance around the lake is roughly 28 miles. This is scenic and sometimes challenging.
